A Father and Son Talk

No comments:
During my marriage, we were blessed with three kids. I have only one boy. He is now fully grown up. He has just graduated from college last March 2011. When he was still a student, we always tell him not to get into relationship with girls so that he can focus on his studies. And he did. We did not see him getting along with girls. One day, we were surprised because he brought two young ladies in our house. He toured them at the back of our house because the area is overlooking the sea and the mountain ranges. The two young ladies were very much impressed of the beautiful view and admired our place very much. When the visitors left, my husband asked my son about the two girls. He suspected that one of them maybe special for him. During their conversation, my son did not hesitate to tell his father that he has some feeling of the girl with long hair. Only, he cannot just easily express it personally. Then, he advice him to use the cell phone. He can text the girl gradually. He inspires him that there are many ways how to text a girl you like. My husband seemed to understand that my son is now adult and he has to experience a relationship with a woman he likes. He just want to make sure that things goes well and that they won't hide anything from us. In this way, they will maintain open communication to themselves and to us and that they will not have unnecessary temptations that will bring stain to their relationship.

My son's heart and confidence

No comments:
After my son graduated from college, it was my first time to see him boldly introduced to us his two female classmates. I was really surprised. When the two girls left from our house, I ask him if one of them was special to him. He answered indirectly that they are only his friends. Then days passed but I have observed that my son keeps on going out from our house during the night. I saw him talking to someone thru his cell phone. It took him almost one hour before he ends the said conversation. One day, I ask him, do you have already a girlfriend? He answered to me, not yet Mom. He is just starting to court. When his Dad knew this, he told his son, do you have the confidence to win the girl whom you like? My son only smiled at his father. He didn’t hear any answer. I was really concerned with my son feelings. After their conversation, I told my son about a website where he can get ideas how to become confident if you want to approach a woman. I convinced him to open at once The social man online because it has a lot of topics that can help him discover himself. I guarantee him that this website can change his outlook in life.

Mr. V's Pedia Visit

No comments:
Yesterday, we went to Mr. V's pedia appointment. Mr. G felt concerned to Mr. V because he sensed that the pedia place has done something uncomfortable to him before so he went inside clinging to the side of my blouse. The nurse undressed Mr. V and he started making unnecessary movements. Mr. G started to cry and the nurse noticed and stop and entertained Mr. G to play with the puzzles. Mr. G calmed and played while the nurse continue the process. She measured Mr. V's head circumference, belly, height and weight. She boomed to me that my Mr. V is doing great and he is pretty big baby which has no problems. I am happy to know about that and a doctor came in and inspected Mr. V's ears, eyes and the milestone he had achieved like turning from tummy to back and he coos and smiles back when entertained. She's happy how my baby has grown and showed signs of improvement and that I still breastfeed him. Mr. V is now 15 pounds from 13 pounds from a month ago's pedia visit. I felt proud of how I took care of my sons when I heard the compliments from the nurse and doctor.

My Children's skills and business idea

No comments:
As a parent, I am very particular of the education of my children. It is always my dream to send them to private school. I preferred this institution because I knew they have all the resources to give good training for their students. I want my children to have a good foundation especially during their pre -school, elementary and high school days. During these years, I noticed that my two daughters were able to develop their skills in Art particularly the drawing ability. I told my eldest daughter , someday you can make money out of your skill. In 2007, she got married . Being a stay home Mom, she keep herself busy by doing art stuff. When I saw her work through the email, I was impressed. Then, I told her why not sell these items online so a lot of customers can view your products. In this way she can start a small business commerce on her own. It is now the practice of most businesses to make good use of a website where they can sell anything they want. I have recommended her to build a website from Intuit online. I believe this website can help her establish an online store with lesser cost.

The Wrist Watch

No comments:
This coming October 24, 2011 is the start of the second semester class for college students in one of the University School in our place. My youngest daughter is taking up Nursing Course. She is now in her regular second year college. Being a mother, I am very much concerned of her school needs. Last September, I contacted my sister-in-law in Canada if she could spare her used wrist watch. She told me she will look for one. At present, my daughter has been using a very old wrist watch which she borrowed from one of her best friend last semester. I am concerned of this accessory for my youngest daughter because the watch she has been using will be returned to the owner soon.

A Finest ring for Engagement

No comments:
When we talk about Engagement, it is the most significant day for both man and woman. It is the day where the man proposes to the woman he loves to become one with him in marriage. But what's more important to this occasion  for the man to show his pure intentions to the woman, is to choose the one "Engagement Ring" to bound her closer to him with pure intentions too. A man learns to sacrifice himself to buy the perfect ring for her, according to what he can afford, which is a big step other than their courting relationship. Engagement relationship  is geared towards lifetime commitment, thus the Engagement ring plays an important Symbol.

When I got engaged, I was also told that I can also return the ring to my fiance. And as what I have learned, if a woman returns the engagement ring, it is a way of jilting the man or maybe she loved another guy. But then my heart was pure when I said "Yes" after he proposed to me because I knew in my heart and in my mind that he is the man that I love and whom I will spend the rest of my life with. A few months before that day, he asked me about marriage and I knew he will propose to me anytime soon. I pondered and I prayed during those days asking God for guidance. In these days, there may be other styles of how men propose Engagement to their woman out there, but it is important to keep communication open between the two, and that both should continue to ask God's guidance for their hearts to keep loving each other.

Like one of those precious princess cut engagement rings in Diamond mansion online, my husband chose a beautiful Diamond Engagement Ring for me. It was a glorious day for me being chosen by a beautiful man, inside and out. And I also told myself, I will never lose this Finest ring as this is a symbol of love and commitment of my fiance, my one and true love.

Taking Care of My Little Piggery Business

No comments:
Last week, I was able to sell all my eleven piglets. Most of the buyers just came from my neighborhood. The age of the piglets which I disposed was already more than 45 days. The last buyer was able to buy two piglets. I have just known that it was her first time to raise piglets. She ask me if I knew of medicines for worm killer. I told her I already give my piglets complete vaccines before I dispose them. So, she has nothing to worry about. After our conversation, she was so thankful and she left with a happy heart and with peace of mind. On my part, I am so very particular of taking good care of my pigs in order that customers will keep on coming in.

October is One of the Special Months for Me

No comments:
The month of October has a lot of special events in my life both in the religious aspect and personal side. This coming October 19 is the 25th birthday of my eldest daughter, Lady Carmel. On the following day is the 49th birthday of my hubby, George. When my daughter was still in the Philippines, we used to combine her birthday celebration with her father. Now that she is already living in the United States, we have only simple celebration during the birthday of her Papa. I really missed her. She has been away from us for three years already. I hope and pray that she can visit us in the Philippines together with her family soon in God's time.

10 Ways to Minimize or Prevent Varicose Veins

Being a leader, I am in charge not only in planning but in the actual performance of the things needed for the said activity. Two days before the scheduled date of the benefit dance, I am already very busy. I've been doing this for two years as part of my term. Until I noticed that I have developed varicose veins on my left leg. At that time, I have no idea yet of what to do in order to prevent varicose veins. Lately, I came across in one of my readings how to minimize or prevent varicose veins. I would like to share this with my readers.

Hello Baby V

3 comments:
This afternoon, I had a wonderful time with my two kiddos. We are strangers in this new big city called Syracuse, and I'm happy that we could just walk 5 minutes to a nearby restaurant to have lunch, which is near our hotel. After we got back to our hotel's room, Mr. G hit the bed and slept while Baby V was in the mood of playing with me. I made funny faces and he just laughs away. It was my second time to notice that he responds a real baby laugh when I make funny faces to him. Here is a cute picture while I placed him in the sofa today.

Halloween is near.

No comments:

Halloween is almost near and malls are overflowing with Halloween costumes and effects nowadays. A lot of costumes are expensive because they really come with all the frills so I’m thinking of what I can get for my daughter in case she can attend one.

Although it would be a lot of fun to go out and wear really elaborate costumes, there are also ways on how to participate in an event without spending too much. One just needs to be creative with ideas and the props to use.

The most common costumes for little girls in malls and other shopping centers are fairies, witches and princesses. Though they’re a big hit with kids, we can also go another route and experiment with other options, like a nurse dressed in medical scrubs. With a little effect including some red stuff like using a lipstick for blood, and some washable black paint of color, dressing up as a nurse can also be a fun alternative for a costume.

I’m not really sure where to find scrubs for kids though but I found a site online, http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/ that may just have some for both children and adults alike. With a little tweak here and there, it should be the perfect custom for any family this Halloween.

Importance of Dating

No comments:
Just as our technology flourished in this new millennium, our culture has, also, changed to conform to our hi-tech world. Now, everything appears to be of easy access and people seem to be always in a hurry in everything, even dating. Because of that, many couples even the married ones tend to get burnout of their relationships easily. Undeniably, getting involved with a person without taking time to know each other well may result to a sad, unhealthy relationship is an inevitable fact.

That’s the reason why dating is important. Though looks may count to get the both of you physically attracted with each other, it still does not guarantee a healthy relationship. But knowing yourself and your partner will give you ways to keep on attracting each other. In dating, you’ll be able to assess each other’s characters and readiness to be in a relationship. You’ll both know your views, interests and goals in life thus give the two of
you the opportunity to discover you mutual likes and dislikes which will give you an idea about your compatibility.

In Christian crush, a dating site for christian singles, they will provide you information using video profiles and personality assessments of their members to help you make the right choice. They aim not just to help you find your perfect match but, also, to guide you in making your relationship a successful one! They have a lot of articles that will give you tips about dating and keeping the flame of love between you and your partner burning with security, harmony and passion.

So, if you’re looking for a lifetime partner, make sure to spend enough time in dating online and in person. Also, bear in mind that you can’t just simply put your best foot forward, you also have to communicate with your partner in any ways possible. Well, good luck with your date!

The Selling of Our Piglets

No comments:
It's been a long day for me for the past 5 days. I've been looking for buyers of my 13 piglets. They are already ready for disposal as their age already reach 45 days. I was so restless because I've been thinking of the big expense of their feeds. Feeds for them will cost P44.00 per kilo. They will eat three times a day so I spent P132.00 per day. I keep on praying I can contact people who are interested to buy piglets. I saw a buyer and he bought 1 piglet only. My neighbor who heard about my piglets bought 1 piglet also. The other one was taken by the owner of the boar as payment for his services for my sow. I have now 10 piglets left. I was really worried because it's really hard to look for buyers. I know I cannot afford to raise all these piglets alone. Then, in the early morning of Oct. 7, 2011, a man knocked at our door. I opened the door and I saw the best friend of my husband who is also our neighbor. He said, he wants to buy 5 piglets. His son who just came home from Australia wants to buy 5 piglets. I was so very happy inside my heart. I didn't expect God answered my prayers. I gave him at once the 5 piglets. His total payment amounted to P10,000.00. I said to myself, I can now pay my debts that I borrowed for the tuition of my daughter. The rest of the money, I can use it to buy for our daily consumption. With this development, it is now easy for me to take care of the 5 remaining piglets. I think in the next few days I can dispose them easily. My Sincere Thanks to Our Almighty God who is the Great Provider of All.
