The nesting instinct

Nesting instinct is the uncontrollable urge of a pregnant woman to clean the house as a preparation for welcoming her new baby. She might consider giving away or throwing out things that are still usable because she wants brand new stuff for her and baby. It is also the sudden burst of energy of reorganizing things inside the house like folding and checking out her baby stuff in the drawer or her hospital bag, many many times. Studies I have read shows it happens most commonly around 6 months or later in pregnancy, or even after delivery.
